Naming a star is a gesture of love, of respect, of commemoration. By naming a star, you are concretely expressing your feelings, and you do so for all eternity: stars keep their names forever. The star that we will name for you will be as unique as the person for whom you are naming it.

This PDF version of the Star Package is smaller in size and can be printed on regular letter-sized paper if you need something tangible right away.

With your confirmation email, you will receive a PDF copy of your Certificate, Sky Chart, as well as a congratulations/memorial letter. There will also be a link to have access to your star’s information and to view it online via the Worldwide Telescope.

Your star

We will name a star in the constellation of your choice or, if you leave it up to us, we will choose a star in a constellation that is visible from your location on the date that you have chosen for the registration. In addition to the star package, you will also receive an email giving you a link to the Worldwide Telescope, which will enable you to see, through the magic of the web, the star that was named for you.
